"Jesse was a Godsend....the end of an era.  He came to me when I was looking for a foundation stud dog to compliment Rosie's Wondereye background.  He was born into the last litter Ada Karrasch, of Wondereye Farms, was to breed...she passed away while Jesse was still in Star's Whelping Box.  His mother, Star was also the last dog that Lewis Pence, her breeder, would live to trial.  Jesse himself had a less then perfect beginning....after surviving Parvo, he broke his knee at just 12 weeks old, while jumping wildly for a squeaky toy.  This injury would later haunt us in the obedience ring, so a CD was as far he'd go.  Later in life Jesse found his true love...herding sheep.  He became a demo dog, for Roy Sage, showing that a Border Collie could have style, power and bite.  Jesse was true to his great heritage and passed on these qualities to his offspring.
